Jonathan was appointed as a Governor in 2016 and serves on the Workforce Advisory Committee.
Jonathan has an extensive international career in global manufacturing and technical business services. Over 10 years he was a member of the Group Executive growing assurance services company Intertek Group Plc. into the FTSE 100, leading their HR, Communications and Sustainability worldwide for over 40,000 employees. Previously he was in France and the USA in global HR roles with Bureau Veritas, assurance services and Valeo, automotive. He started his career as an engineering apprentice in the UK, gained a 1st in Production Engineering and held roles in project engineering, lean manufacturing and quality management before moving into business restructuring and HR.
He holds dual Chartered Engineer and HR credentials and is a Freeman of the City of Coventry. He previously served as Vice Chair of the Commonwealth Education Trust.
He is today an independent advisor.
