Kerry O’Callaghan joined as a Governor at the end of 2017 and will be Lead Governor on Claude Littner Business School and Student Union liaison.

Kerry has 25 years’ experience in marketing/management in the healthcare sector having worked at J&J and GSK.  She started her career as a commercial graduate in Glaxo Pharmaceuticals and has progressed through a variety of marketing and sales roles operating at UK, European and Global level.  Kerry has lived in the US twice for a period of 5 years having lead roles in smoking cessation and weight loss categories.

In 2011 Kerry became Vice President Global Brand where she leads a team who are responsible for both defining and communicating what the GSK brand stands for and leading the key global activation programmes that bring the GSK brand to life.  These include providing drug testing for London 2012, a partnership with McLaren to learn how a leading Formula 1 team use data, analytics and teamwork and how we leverage that to drive efficiencies throughout GSK.  Kerry sits on steering groups of our ground-breaking partnerships with Save the Children and Comic Relief. Kerry has led the team to develop the GSK global brand look and feel and narrative to help engage employees and external stakeholders.

Kerry also sits on judging panel of GSK IMPACT awards, a 20 year programme investing in small healthcare charities.

Kerry read Physiological Sciences at Oxford University and has a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma.

Kerry lives in West London with her husband and 2 children.
