Kiran is a Chartered Accountant having trained and qualified with Deloitte in London. He has over 30 years’ financial management experience gained from working for a number of large multinational companies, including Thorn EMI, Cable & Wireless, United Technologies Corporation, Morse plc, Thomas Cook and International Airlines Group. He has expertise and core competencies in business planning and analysis, project accounting and governance, financial reporting and commercial decision support.
He served as a co-opted member of the UWL Finance Committee between 2017 and 2020 and was appointed as Governor in 2020.
Kiran has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies Economics from the University of Kent and completed a Full-time MBA at Henley Management College.
Kiran is also a Governor at Windsor Forest Colleges Group, a Further Education and Sixth Form College with campuses based in Egham, Langley and Windsor. He has been a college Governor since 2003 in which time he has served as Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Finance and Resources Committee.
He lives in Staines with his wife and two children.
