I am a Senior Lecturer, a Course Leader for the Practice Education Professional Standards and a Doctoral Researcher in Social Work. My 20 years’ work experience includes research, training and development, lecturing, awareness raising, therapeutic intervention, project and personal management, policy design, securing funding and budget management. I have particular expertise in the fields of Child Protection and Rights (legislation), Gender analysis, Mainstreaming and Women’s Empowerment, Women’s Economic Development, Project Management, Immigration Law, Housing and Homelessness, Legislation and Mental Health Crisis Resolution and Treatment.

For the bulk of my career, I have worked with women and girls affected by Gender Based Violence, including Forced Marriage, Honour Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation.
