Tina Coates was appointed to the Board of Governors in September 2022 and is a member of the university’s Workforce Advisory Committee.
Tina is Corporate Affairs Director and member of the Executive Committee at Metro Bank PLC. She has over 25 years’ experience in communications and has worked with some the UK’s leading financial services companies – in-house and agency side – to help them protect their reputations, build their brands, grow their businesses, and improve employee engagement. She has a BA (Hons) Public Relations from Bournemouth University.
Tina is also a governor and former vice-chair at the Windsor Forest Colleges Group. She is a passionate believer in the power of education and vocational learning to change lives, not only for students themselves but also for their families and the communities they are part of.
