Founded in 1975, Westmont Hospitality Group, owned by the Mangalji family, is one of the largest private hotel owners and operators in the world, with a significant presence in the US, Canada, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Laurence Geller

Laurence Geller CBE

Installed as the Chancellor of the University of West London in May 2011, Laurence Geller is the Chairman of Geller Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private real estate investment platform focused on placing capital in the hospitality and leisure industries, and Innovative Aged Care, the UK's first premium dementia care residence.

He has a long-held association with the University of West London, having graduated from the School of Hotel Management and Catering at the institution when it was Ealing Technical College. Through the years, since its founding in 1948, the School swiftly established a worldwide reputation to the now award-winning and leading centre for hospitality and tourism, which was proudly renamed in 2016 to the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism.

In March 2009, Laurence received the University of West London's Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award, and in November 2010 received an honorary doctorate. he was awarded a CBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the 2012 New Year's Honours List. 

He serves on a number of boards relating to the real estate and lodging industries and is a respected philanthropist who has received numerous awards for his charitable endeavours.

    As the Hub's Executive Director, Stephen fosters its forward-thinking environment. He articulates the Hub's vision as a centre for evolving entrepreneurship across the University and is responsible for embedding it within the fabric of UWL. Stephen is building a sustainable business model for the Hub, securing the external investment the Hub needs to flourish.

    As the Hub's Development Manager, Angela plans and manages the Hub's inspiring events programme of workshops, knowledge shares, networking events and short conferences. She also identifies, cultivates and brings in new partnerships with businesses, venture capitalists and others to facilitate the work of the Hub.
