An additional 1 million ebooks are now available for you to read through the Perlego ebook collection. The collection covers many different subject areas taught across UWL.
You can search the entire collection of ebooks via LibSearch. We will also be adding the ebooks to your reading lists.
Access is via your normal UWL student number and password. You can access the collection via the Perlego app as well. Download this through your normal app store. At the login page, enter your UWL email address and you will be asked to log in.
From within the Perlego app/web presence, you can search for specific titles or browse through the topics.

How do I begin using Perlego?
Go to the UWL Perlego link and accept the Perlego T&Cs. You will then need to just login using your UWL student number and password.

I’ve registered for a paid Perlego account and started a free trial but I am a UWL student eligible for free access, what do I do?
There are two options you can chose between:
- You can delete your account following these steps. Delete your account, once your free trial account has been deleted, you will be able to register using UWL’s Perlego account
- Within Settings you can request that the account is moved over to UWL’s Perlego Subscription

I already have a Perlego account attached to my personal email, but I want to keep my notes, highlights and workspaces
You can change the email address assigned to your Perlego account in settings and change it to your UWL email account.

I was unable to register on the app
You are not able to complete your initial Perlego registration within the Perlego app. You will first need to register from using a browser on your phones/tablets/devices.

I cannot access a book
All students and staff are able to access the same content. If you are having any difficulties, and you have checked that you are logged in correctly please email library@uwl.ac.uk
