Fashion Industry students create social media campaign for British brand during London Fashion Week
Intro
Last month’s London Fashion Week saw the launch of an exciting social media campaign, produced for Alchemy London by University of West London (UWL) students on Fashion Industry courses, part of the London School of Film, Media and Design (LSFMD).

Final year students from the Buying and Management and Promotion and Imaging courses worked on a live brief with Alchemy London, an innovative and sustainable women's tailoring brand that utilises deadstock fabrics, materials that would otherwise go to waste.
In response to the client brief, students planned and delivered studio and location photoshoots. The imagery was then used to implement a seven-day social media campaign which made its debut during London Fashion Week itself. They also produced the prototype for a transactional app, linked to the brand's website.
Alchemy London Founder, Chloe St John, was delighted with the campaign, stating that the students had totally captured the essence of the brand, and she intends to use all their creative ideas.
Heather Dupay, Joint Course Leader for BA (Hons) Fashion Industry, commented:
This was a really successful and creative project, which is part of an ongoing strategy towards providing Fashion Industry students with regular live projects to enhance the learning experience and benefit their development as professionals within the industry."
