Why should you become a Student Ambassador?
We have a large group of Student Ambassadors who play a vital role in representing UWL at events and acting as role models for our students. Are you interested in getting involved? We are now hiring - so if you are thinking of applying, check out some of the ways it could benefit you to become a Student Ambassador at UWL.
1. It’s flexible
This is a paid role where you will be employed on a casual, part-time basis. You decide which days and hours you want to work, therefore it’s perfect to do alongside your studies.
2. It looks good on your C.V.
Gain valuable experience networking with other ambassadors, prospective students, and UWL staff which looks great to potential employers in the future.
3. Be the face of UWL
You have the chance to represent our university at higher education fairs, open days, campus tours, and complex events such as corporate dinners, graduations, and induction and enrolment.
4. Develop your community
You’ll be supporting future UWL students by providing insight into life as a university student, and meeting people from a lot of different backgrounds and cultures.
Meet some of our current ambassadors: Aysha, Mohammed, Luana, Rebecca, and Darius, and see what they have to say about their experiences so far.
I applied because I was looking for a new adventure and an opportunity to study and work at the same time.
I love helping people and since becoming a student ambassador, I’ve built up a great network of interesting contacts and people who I’ll definitely remain friends with in the future.
I love the fact the group is so international and diverse, it means you meet a lot of people from all over the world.
