Finding and using information

Catalogues

The Library Catalogue can be accessed here or from the Library Home page search box. You can use the catalogue to search for our Library resources. It will tell you where they are shelved inside the Library and whether they are currently available for loan. You can reserve on-loan items, request items for collection at a different site and save references to a personal list.

If you wish to search all Library resources including electronic resources such as e-journals and databases, use Summon, also available from the Library Home page search box.

You can also access your Library Account via the Catalogue. If you login it will tell you what you have on loan, when it is due back and any overdue charges you may have outstanding. You can also use it to renew your loans and change your borrower PIN.

External Catalogues

If we do not have the item you are looking for you may want to consider an Inter-Library loan (ILL). Use the list of catalogues below to find the item you want and then contact us to arrange the ILL. Alternatively you can just request the item and we will take care of tracking it down for you.
