Fiona Edwards, UWL's newly appointed Dean of the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare (CNMH), will be reflecting on her nursing and education journey on #NursesDay - which falls on Florence Nightingale’s birthday – 12 May.

Stacey Close and Lauren Claybrook are both in their final year studying for a BNursing (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing at the College of Nursing Midwifery and Healthcare at the University of West London.

A UWL student who is the first in his family to attend university is being highlighted in a new national campaign from Universities UK.

Alison Wakefield, Professor of Criminology and Security Studies at UWL, and researchers from the University of Portsmouth have published a report entitled "Autonomous Vehicles: Threats, Risks and Opportunities".

Students from the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism have successfully made it through to the semi-finals of the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge, featuring over 100 innovative concepts from over 60 universities worldwide.

This academic year, UWL has given out 46 prizes and scholarships, all of which are backed by alumni and friends of the University.

Dr Rekha Sugandhi, Dr Renu Vyas and Dr Priya Singh toured the University’s new Digital Futures Lab, the Hellenic Institute for Maritime Studies, the Food Innovation Lab and the Pillars restaurant.
