Welcome to the London School of Film, Media and Design. Whatever your interest in the creative industries, we have a course that will suit you - advertising and public relations, broadcast journalism, fashion and textiles, film production, graphic design, media and communications, photography, radio and audio production, and visual effects.
Situated in West London, the hub of the UK's creative and media industries, our school is built upon the skills and experiences of our inspirational staff. All of our courses have been developed directly from the experience of our staff, and creative industries and businesses with which we work.
The creative industries are a global growth market and we understand that students must have a depth of experience in their chosen field. We will develop your skills to collaborate across disciplines, work in teams and respond to changing market demands. Our unique curricular accommodates best industry practice.
On many courses there is the opportunity to complete a work placement as part of your studies - which has led to many of our students being offered jobs upon graduating.
We always encourage you to think about your future career with guidance from your personal tutor. We teach employability skills and show you how to manage the progression of your career. If you decide you want to set up your own business, we can give you the entrepreneurial advice you'll need.
Our graduates have gone on to work with high profile organisations such as the BBC, Sky, Channel 4, Framestore, Moving Picture Company, BAFTA, Greenpeace and Ted Baker.
A university education is a mixture of guidance and opportunity, support and exploration. Here at the London School of Film, Media and Design, we've created an environment in which you can pursue your interests and passions and make the most of your time at University.
