Taking place at the EH Smith Design Centre in Clerkenwell, the event gave some of last year’s second- and third-year students (and Course Leader Dr Charlie Fu) the opportunity to meet employers as well as students and graduates from other ADT courses.
Third-year winner Milda Klimanskyte, who also submitted her project for the National CIAT Student Awards, said:
Winning a medal is the culmination of my academic dedication. This recognition stands as a reassuring testament that I was on the right path.”
Her fellow UWL students Tamara Segmenova and Przemyslaw Pawlik were both highly commended. Przemyslaw commented:
Receiving this award shows me that the effort I put into my studies has been recognised. It has boosted my confidence and motivated me further. It would not have been possible without the support of my lecturers.”
Georgios Pavlibeyi, who was the second-year winner, said:
This means a great deal to me. Having my work recognised by CIAT professionals shows that the hard work and long hours I put in over the year has paid off!”
Senior Lecturer Efcharis Balodimou stated:
We are very proud of our students’ performance this year. They were a very engaged and hardworking group.”
Dr Charlie Fu added:
Most of our graduates have found relevant employment soon after completing their degrees. We wish them all the best for their future careers and studies.”
