Award winning entrepreneur, David Orlic shares the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur

Intro

David Orlic, CEO and co-founder of Anyone – a networking platform that allows budding entrepreneurs to get access to five minutes of an experienced entrepreneur or top-tier investor’s time, visited Westmont Enterprise Hub recently to share his thoughts on 'What I wish I'd known starting out'.  David’s talk is part of a series of special events and presentations that the Hub puts on for its members. Originally, he was due to join online from his base in Stockholm however since he had an urgent meeting in London, David was able to drop in in person before he travelled back to Sweden from Heathrow Airport.

David’s presentation documented the rollercoaster journey that is being an entrepreneur – detailing the highs and the lows, along with giving his audience his advice on how to grow an early-stage startup, fundraise successfully and build resilience among team members.    

David’s own journey includes attending over 300 meetings with investors to raising $5 million over the last two years.  Anyone now gives users access to over 1,000 entrepreneurs and investors. It has been named one of Europe’s hottest startups by WIRED and won Fast Company's World-Changing Idea Award.  

David enthused:

The event saw David share valuable lessons and insights with his audience and additionally, all Westmont Enterprise Hub members will now have an opportunity to access the Anyone platform and try it for themselves.
