Future you - memories of graduation

body

When the work is done, when there are no more lectures, and the books are returned to the library, you can start thinking about Graduation!

These ceremonies are an important opportunity for us to celebrate our graduates’ success and congratulate them on their achievements. Whether you are finishing your degree this year, or sometime in the future, it is time to start getting excited.

We asked Ella Ivan, who studied BA (Hons) Airline and Airport Management and graduated in November 2021, to tell us about her Graduation Day:

Graduation Day felt like a big milestone for me. There were so many highlights: celebrating with my friends and other UWL students, hearing from inspiring honourees, and just having an excuse to get dressed up and take some nice photos. I’m so proud of what I achieved at UWL and spending the day at Twickenham was the perfect way to celebrate those accomplishments. It felt like all that hard work was leading to that moment when I heard my name and stepped up on that stage. For anyone thinking about whether they want to attend Graduation, I urge you to go! You’ll have the best time, I promise you.”

This year, our Summer Graduations are taking place on 27-29 July 2022 at the iconic Twickenham Stadium.

If you are finishing your degree this year, and want to celebrate with your peers, make sure to book your place!

Please make sure to register by 11pm on Sunday 19 June.
