Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub
UWL staff and students will now be able to take advantage of a huge range of sporting facilities thanks to a £2 million investment from the University in the new Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub.
The purpose-built sports complex will include a large-sized sports hall, group exercise studios, 8 tennis courts, two full-size all-weather pitches and 10 grass pitches for football, rugby and cricket.
Built in partnership with Ealing and Hounslow councils, the ultra modern complex will ensure UWL sports teams have guaranteed access to facilities, deliver significant discounts for students and create jobs that can fit around study.

Speaking ahead of the official opening later this month, Professor Peter John, Vice-Chancellor of UWL, said:
This fantastic new sports hub is all part of our commitment to supporting the long-term health and wellbeing of our University community. This is one of London’s largest outdoor sports facilities and will make UWL a university with some of the best sports provision in the capital.
It will also really compliment the UWL Sports and Fitness Centre, so that students can access our gym and exercise classes on campus, whilst being able to access a whole range of facilities nearby that will help our sports teams flourish and grow.
