UWL backs diversity with Queer Student Awards for second year
UWL is once again celebrating diversity and inclusion in all areas of life on campus as it sponsors the Queer Student Awards for the second year running.
Championing success stories from all walks of life, UWL is backing the ceremony for its second year of celebrations, with nominations now open to recognise the talented LGBTQ+ students leading the way to succeed and inspire others.
In sponsoring the award, the University will continue to showcase the importance of inclusive workplaces and the need to celebrate student achievements across campus.
Professor Anthony Woodman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at UWL, said:
Making sure all of our students – no matter what their background, race or sexuality – have the support and opportunities to succeed is at the heart of everything we do here at UWL.
We are proud to once again show our support for these awards as we continue to celebrate the incredible things our students and graduates are doing in all areas of work and industry."
