School of Human and Social Sciences

Becky gained a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of East London in 2017, followed by an MSc with distinction in Forensic Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2019. Her research investigates the role of attention and expectations in non-perceptual conscious experiences (eg visual imagery, hallucinations) using EEG, drawing on predictive coding processes such as precision-weighting in the prediction error minimisation framework. She is also member of the Cognitive Psychology lab, conducting psychophysical research into time perception, expectations and objective reality and consensus.
