David Thomas

David is a Lecturer and Researcher at The University of West London with a professional background in manufacturing, product development and visual communication. His research interests revolve around the symbolic and substantive empowerment of identity, exploring interpretations of self, community and audience via commercial and altruistic outcomes.

He is the curator of ArtsFest at UWL, working closely with colleagues to facilitate the promotion of talent from the creative schools. In 2016 David co-founded ThomFong LTD, a design and strategy company that collaborates with individuals, communities and brands to create meaningful products and experiences.
