Leif Ollivierre

Leif has extensive experience in commercial shipping including ship operations, ship broking, financial reporting, wet and dry maritime law.

Leif has worked as a maritime legal consultant in the City of London and has worked in the international trade and maritime industry in a variety of roles. 


Leif also has extensive experience in training and development and learning and teaching in both higher education and professional shipping bodies. Leif was a senior International maritime law lecturer teaching at the post graduate and under graduate level. He was also Deputy Head of Education at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and is now a lead examiner and member of the Board of Examiners at the Institute.

Leif has also been external examiners for a number of international shipping and trade courses. Leif has successfully worked on projects in Norway, Denmark, Greece, Turkey and the Philippines. 

At the University of West London Leif lectures at both the postgraduate and undergraduate level.
