Dr Maria Winnett

Dr Maria Winnett is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and Information Management at the University of West London. She has a BSc in Physics and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, and a PhD in computer science from Kingston University.

She has extensive industrial and academic experience, including several years working in IT consultancy and mobile software development, which included writing and delivering training courses to software developers at Sony Ericsson, Motorola and Microsoft.

She worked as a lecturer/senior lecturer at Kingston University for 10 years, and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from King’s College London, before joining the University of West London in 2019. Her research interests include the development of innovative mobile health apps using Artificial Intelligence.
