Midwifery lecturer
College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare

I began my midwifery career at the University of Surrey in 2013 and moved to Kingston Hospital once qualified. There, I gained a vast amount of experience and found an interest in high-risk, antenatal and intrapartum care.

To expand on my knowledge of midwifery and women’s health, I completed a Masters in reproductive science and women’s health at University College London in 2019. During my masters, I enjoyed collaborating and exploring the theory and research which we use every day, as midwives in practice. This led to my role as a research midwife at Imperial College in prematurity. My interests lie in prematurity, continuity of care for women, and perinatal loss.

I have always enjoyed learning and teaching, and I joined the Midwifery team at UWL in the summer of 2021.
