How we can help

The Welfare Team offers a safe and welcoming service to any student who is in crisis and feels they can't cope.

You may be feeling low, anxious, home-sick or just struggling - no matter what the problem is the Welfare Team will listen, without judging, and help you manage.

I don’t know what I would have done or where I would have ended up being if it wasn’t for the guidance of the welfare team, I am forever grateful and cannot thank you guys enough for helping me push through.

What issues can I get help with?

We can provide impartial advice, support and information to you on a wide range of issues including:

  • personal relationships

  • stress (personal or study related)

  • sexual violence

  • conflict

  • homelessness

  • abuse

I didn’t come in with much hope but after I left the room, I left with a lot of knowledge and, most importantly, my mind was a little bit at peace knowing I had the right support.
