BA (Hons) Applied Theatre (Acting and Devising)

This practice-focused course aims to equip you with the skills you need to be an applied arts professional. Taught predominantly through practical activities, you will learn skills in performing, creating, facilitating and producing your own performance projects. 

The modules are designed to nurture your creative potential and individual artistic identity. You will explore performing arts practices from a wide range of global and local contexts and learn inclusive and diverse approaches to theatre-making. You will learn how to use new technologies in performance as well as stage performances in unconventional places and digital spaces.

BSc (Hons) Audio Software Engineering

This degree in audio software engineering will enable you to find work in a range of industry sectors where audio software, coding and development are part of the skillset employers are looking for. 

During the course, you will look at how advances in software to create, manipulate and represent audio in creative ways, have radically changed our approach to and relationship with audio.  

By the end of the course, you will have a huge array of marketable skills under your belt as an audio software engineer and will be able to apply them for a range of purposes in the industry.

BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying

This course will prepare you for a career in Quantity Surveying in the construction industry - one of the largest sectors of the UK economy.

You will learn to assess the amount of materials and labour required for building operations so that you are ready to work alongside architectural technologists, building surveyors, project managers and other roles.

You will also learn to meet the contemporary challenges and opportunities in quantity surveying. These include the digitisation of design and automation of some aspects of project planning and management.

BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Computing

This BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Computing brings together subjects from mathematics, statistics, and computing to address the current and future main challenges faced in business, society, engineering, and science. 

The course has been designed to be accredited by relevant professional bodies in computing and mathematics (Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications and British Computer Society), to meet employers’ expectations for professional standards in the fields of mathematics, statistics, and computing.

BA (Hons) Sound and Music for Gaming

The course modules are designed to nurture your creative potential and individual artistic identity. The course has been designed from the ground up, using industry input to prepare you with the skillset (and mindset) to succeed in this industry. 

You will also benefit from interaction with industry practitioners who have designed BAFTA/Cannes Lion Award/Apple Top Ten award-winning game audio.
