Open
Learning Disabilities bursary
As a BNursing Learning Disabilities Nursing or PgDip Learning Disabilities Nursing student, you will receive a one-off UWL bursary of £1,000*. This is in addition to the NHS grant of at least £5,000 a year, plus a NHS subject specialist grant of a further £1,000 per academic year.

*This bursary is automatically awarded on successful completion of Year 1 of the course and is only applicable to students beginning their studies in September 2024.
The AMO Scholarship
The AMO Scholarship is kindly supported by alumni and friends of UWL and is open to Level 8 (PhD) students who have not received the UWL Vice-Chancellor's PhD Scholarship.
The University's selection committee will select the most deserving candidate.
The Josette M. Billich Nursing Award
The Josette M. Billich Nursing Awards are kindly supported by Capt. Samuel Billich, CD, JP, FRGS.
The Awards are open to full-time and part-time Home and International students pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course at the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare.
The College's selection committee will select the most deserving candidate.

The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship
The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Scholarship is kindly supported by the Sandhu Charitable Foundation.
The Scholarship is open to full-time Home and International students who are in Level 5 (Year 2) of an undergraduate degree course in the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare. This is a two-year scholarship, worth £5,000 per year to one student (totalling £10,000 over two years).
The College's selection committee will select the most deserving candidate.
