My story

My course at University of West London was superb and the facilities were brilliant. I would recommend the course to anyone who has a passion for music and wants to succeed in the music business. It taught me valuable music business skills and most importantly professionalism within the industry. After graduating I set up my own business specialising in audio post production and sound design. I moved to Gloucestershire with my partner who also graduated from University of West London with a first class hons in New Media Journalism with Radio Broadcast; we met at the SU bar in our first year and we are now getting married in six weeks time! After running my business for two years I was head hunted by Gloucestershire College to become a music technology lecturer. I am now a fully qualified teacher and spread my time between my business and lecturing at the college.

My top three achievements

  • Working on the sound design for Angels & Demons and designing the sound for the Strongbow garden party TV advert.
  • Becoming a lecturer - now I can inspire students just as I was whilst studying such a fun and worthwhile subject.
  • Achieving a house, a wife and a career within three years of graduating from uni.'
