Celebrating British Science Week, find out about STEM subjects at UWL

University of West London students in a science laboratory

British Science Week is a celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and provides a platform to stimulate public interest in this crucial area which affects all our lives.

At the University of West London, we offer a wide range of courses across the STEM subjects. In the latest National Student Survey (2016), we were best in the UK for Overall Satisfaction in Civil Engineering and Built Environment courses. Meanwhile, in this year’s Complete University Guide 2017, we are the best University in London for Forensic Science.

At UWL, students learn from academics who are experts in their field, in state of the art facilities and our academic team contributes to the STEM debate in research, journals and books.

Come along to one of our open days at the University of West London to find out more about how STEM subjects are integrated into our courses and provide students with a great foundation for successful careers.

Watch this video in which our Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Anthony Woodman, shares all that is great and good at the University of West London in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
