I am a registered nurse and qualified in 1989. I have had a varied career working in many different fields within secondary care for 17 years. I have worked in General Practice for the past 20 years and continue to work as Lead Nurse in a large practice in West London. I am seconded to work at UWL two days per week and lead on teaching in cervical cytology and family planning. I continue to work one session a week within a family planning clinic and have my FSRH Diploma.

Teaching

I am currently seconded to UWL from clinical practice two days per week. I facilitate and teach on the Foundation Practice Nurse course. I work one day per week in family planning and sexual health and have my FSRH Diploma and am a specialist family planning nurse. Part of my role has been to deliver the Cervical Cytology course and I have been providing this training for the past eight years at UWL.
