Ealing site (St Mary’s Road)

  • The Heart

    The Heart (sometimes affectionately known as "the Heartspace") is located in the centre of the Ealing site on the ground floor. It offers a wide range of fairtrade speciality coffees and tea, drinks and meals including:

    • Breakfast service: a selection of pastries and freshly made toasted sandwiches.
    • Lunch service: a new approach to designing your own food — including the Heavenly Burger, handmade pizzas, soup and pasta. There is also a wide selection of sandwiches, hot jumbo sausage rolls and jacket potatoes with a filling of the day, puddings and cold sweets.

    All the dishes are made on-site using local sustainable and quality products.

    • Monday to Thursday, 8am - 8pm
    • Friday, 8am - 4pm
    • Saturday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

  • The Haven

    Located in the reception of the Ealing site, The Haven welcomes you with a selection of luxury hot drinks as well as a range of sandwiches, cakes and snacks.

  • Coffee Union

    Coffee Union is staffed by UWL students and is located in the Park building at the Ealing site. Coffee Union serves a range of quality food and drinks at great value prices. As part of the student union, every penny you spend at Coffee Union goes back to directly improving your student experience.

    Opening hours:

    • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6pm (term time)
    • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (non-term time)
    • Saturdays, UWL open days only

  • Freddie's

    Freddie’s is located in the Park Building at the Ealing site and serves a great range of drinks and freshly prepared food. Freddie’s is the venue for entertainment and events, ranging from live music and club nights to comedy and quizzes — it’s the ideal place to make friends and have fun.

    Opening hours:

    • Monday to Friday, 11am - 9pm, food served 12pm - 7:30pm (term time).
    • Some event hours may vary.

  • The Pillars Restaurant

    The Pillars Restaurant

    Enjoy a contemporary and elegant dining experience at The Pillars Restaurant, UWL’s training restaurant. The restaurant offers enticing lunch and dinner menus prepared and cooked by UWL students.  

    Lunch     

    • Tuesday to Friday, 12pm - 2:30pm, (last orders for food will be taken at 1:15pm)

    Dinner     

    • Thursday and Friday, 6.30pm - 9.00pm. Three course meal is £20.50 or two courses is £18.50.

  • Little Coffee Union

    Little Coffee Union is now available at our Century and Cavendish House buildings! Situated in the rear car park.

    Little Coffee Union serves a variety of hot drinks and snacks as well as delicious sandwiches and paninis, freshly made by students for students.

    Monday - Friday, 8am - 2pm (term time)

There are also vending machines offering hot and cold beverages, confectionery, crisps and snacks at both the Ealing and Brentford sites.
