About the event

Dr Rannia Leotaridi, the Director General for Aviation, Maritime and Security Group at the Department for Transport in the United Kingdom along with a range of other Aviation Ambassadors will be joining us for a panel discussion to celebrate International Women’s Day. As part of the discussion, the Women in Aviation Charter will be introduced and deliberated by the panel and there will be the opportunity for students to ask questions and network with the participants.

Speakers will come from a range of different experiences and organisations and have been successfully advocating for equality of women within aviation.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, this panel discussion, hosted by Dr Elitza Iordanova, Head of Subject – Tourism, Aviation and Events, at London Geller College for Tourism and Hospitality, University of West London, discusses what could be done to accelerate the progression of gender diversity and women leadership in aviation.
