The Student IT Service Desk provides technical support for all students using University of West London IT facilities and services. Ask them for help with problems such as login difficulties, formatting documents, network access, and printing problems.

You can contact the University of West London IT Service Desk by emailing itservicedesk@uwl.ac.uk or by calling 020 8231 2310 and selecting Option 1. IT Services can be found in the Paul Hamlyn Library between 09.00 and 20.30 Monday to Friday during term time.

You can find further information about IT Services on the Student Portal where you can also top up your ID card for printing. A useful downloadable guide to IT services (pdf 2.5mb) is also available 

Which login/password to use?

If you are not sure which login and password you need to use for which services, please check the table on the Library e-resources page.

Windows 10 

We currently have 27 PCs that have been upgraded to Windows 10 in advance of the eventual upgrading of all the library PCs. These are all located in the Paul Hamlyn Library on the 2nd floor around the lightwell and on the benches in the arrivals lounge between the Park and Heart Space sides. We have produced a guide to accessing AppsAnywhere; the new means by which users can access the software on these PCs.  If you would like to try AppsAnywhere, please let us know what you think by completing the evaluation form
