Faithfull Gonzo is a senior lecturer in Events Management who has a passion and experience in teaching Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management.

Before transitioning into academia, Faithfull worked for large and prestigious organisations such as Leander Club, Marriott Hotels, and Qhotels for more than fifteen years. She successfully completed doctoral level research in Economics and Management with Tourism Management. Faithfull also holds an MA degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management (UK) and a BA (honours) degree in Events Management and Hospitality Management (UK).

Faithfull is an external evaluator for various academic institutions. She is a co-author of 'Inclusive Community Development Through Tourism and Hospitality Practices', published by IGI Global. Faithfull has also published articles in peer-reviewed academic journals. Her research interests include rural tourism development and planning, poverty alleviation, economic impacts, sustainable development and diaspora tourism.
